Sandestin, FL, USA – The organizers of the “Tunes by the Dunes” benefit concert held on October 7 recently gave the US$28,000 raised from the event to the Children’s Volunteer Health Network. The concert featured award-winning musicians Jeffrey Steele, Al Anderson, Greg Barnhill and Kim Carnes, who is known for her Grammy-winning hit “Bette Davis Eyes.” The money, which was held by the Rosemary Beach Foundation, will go directly to helping uninsured and underinsured children in the Walton and Okaloosa counties. Thirty percent of all children in Walton County are uninsured. Kim Jameson, secretary of the Rosemary Beach Foundation, said, “It was an incredible night of music dedicated to helping those that can’t help themselves.”
