What is One World Beat?
One World Beat is an international organization of musicians of all styles and levels who organize and perform concerts to raise awareness and funds for global and local charitable projects.

When is the One World Beat music festival?
On the first weekend of spring 2005 (March 18-27), musicians, bands and singers will perform simultaneously around the world in the One World Beat festival.

Who can participate in the festival?
One World Beat unites artists of all musical styles -- rock, pop, hip-hop, electronic, soul, country, jazz, folk, alternative and all other forms of musical expression. One World Beat is for promoters, venue owners and musicians, whether established or up-and-coming. Participants are asked to donate all or part of their proceeds from their festival event to the One World Beat help project. Every contribution counts, no matter how big or small. Why should musicians participate?
The One World Beat festival provides a unique opportunity to team up with your peers across the planet and show that, as much as you care about your music, you care about others too.

Can I participate as a non-musician?
Yes. Every individual has skills that can help make a difference. Long before the musicians take the stage, there is a lot of organization and communication that will need to be done. If you are an enthusiastic individual or part of an association that would like to participate in the organization, you are invited to join us and help develop the festival in your area. What do I need to participate?
As with any concert you need two basic elements: the musicians and a location for the gig. Once you have them you are ready to sign up.

How do I sign up for the festival?
You can sign up as a band, musician, venue, music school, organization or promoter. In order to participate you need to read and accept the conditions and then sign up.

How do I donate money?
One World Beat requests that all or part of the proceeds of the concert goes to the official help project. Our goal is to unite musicians in one common cause to make a difference. Donations can be made through our secured online system with all the major credit cards. Make a donation.

How can I become a partner?
