UK: Fight to end homelessness boosted by concert

Daylong concert brings Dirty Pretty Things out of the recording studio and onto the stage

London, UK – Proud Gallery played host to some of the brightest British talent for a concert to support the homeless charity Crisis. Starting in the early afternoon, the epic-length concert featured Four Day Hombre and Racing for Pink early on and the crowd-pleasers and energy-boosters Graham Coxon and Dirty Pretty Things in the early evening. Frontman Carl Barat spoke of the importance of the cause: “It’s helping the immediate present…I’ve seen what a slippery slope it can be.” Supergrass and Athlete closed out the night, capping a day of British music at its best for a cause often ignored in the public eye.
