USA: "Drumming in One World Beat" Gets First Sign-Up!

Drumroll Please...OWB Drumming Project Has Its First Sign-Up!

On March 19th, from 5-6pm, the Arcadian Fields Ministry in Rocky River, Ohio, will be joining musicians and others around the world for an hour of collective drumming, in a new One World Beat project called "Drumming in One World Beat", meant to enhance unity among participants and create a sense of global solidarity. Arcadian Fields has announced that, if there is enough interest in this type of event (please contact them to participate), they might organize drum sessions throughout the ten days of the OWB festival (March 18-27). Email: pateticus@cox.net.

The March 19th event will be the second open house for the Ministry--the first being February 26th, starting at 8pm, at the Merchants Showcase--which aims to create a caregiving network and cooperative of artists, musicians, teachers, craftspeople, merchants, and others who will help to support education, youth, arts and music, a community center and daycare center for members. A concert to raise funds for the drop-in center will take place in April.

We look forward to "Marching" across the planet to the beat of local drummers everywhere, who are once again proving that music can make a difference for us all, and we hope that you will join us!
