One World Beat makes news
Newspapers worldwide are publishing stories about One World Beat, and some newspapers in countries not yet represented for the festival have invited musicians in that country to take part. World-renowned newspapers such as the South China Morning Post and the Kashmir Observer in India have published stories about One World Beat and invited musicians in those countries to take part. Publications in countries such as Ukraine, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta, Spain, Slovakia, Yugoslavia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Samoa and the Caribbean have all published stories about One World Beat or confirmed that stories will be published. Publications from Bulgaria and Hungary to Bermuda, Montserrat, St. Lucia and the Virgin Islands are interested in publishing stories about the festival.

One World Beat has 135 events on board so far in nearly 40 countries worldwide, with plenty of publicity for the festival resulting in great interest in other countries. We also have 38 volunteers in 26 countries, also due to wide publicity. Press releases were recently sent to 400 media contacts in 86 countries not hosting One World Beat events, asking them to invite musicians in those countries to take part, and the campaign quickly resulted in two new events in Spain, the first Spanish One World Beat events.

In addition to One World Beat's own global PR campaigns, a partnership agreement with the award-winning PressReleaseNetwork.com ensures that One World Beat press releases are distributed to 4,500 media contacts worldwide, both newswires and online services.
