Reptor Radio Productions Rocks for OWB
with Global Streaming May 6-7th!
For the third
year in a row, we are delighted to announce that
Reptor Productions will be rocking radio to the
One World Beat, via online global streaming! Reptor
has participated in 2004 and 2005, producing shows
as varied as the talents and music they regularly
feature. Located in Wales, they broadcast worldwide,
at all hours of the day and night! Check them
out at www.reptorproductions.co.uk
and www.reptorradio.co.uk.
Starting
on May 6th at 10pm, listen to styles, sounds,
and bands ranging from metal to rap, hip-hop to
rock, Latin to classical, country to blues, soul
to easy listening, pop to World Music.
Chain
Low, described as "North Wales's finest ambient/electronika
producers", has a unique sonic style which
is ethereal, relaxing, and mind-bending, all at
the same time. With a combination of hypnotic
drums, distorted guitar riffs, tribal chants,
their music is a multi-layered trip for mind,
body, and soul. They have released one album,
"The Angel and the Uzi".
Danny
Hale--composed of music-technician/artist Danny
Hale and singer David Williams--has a rock/punk
sound also influenced by R&B and soul, and
a new EP, "Soul Doubt", which makes
clear that this group is going places.
Gwindingwi
Rine Shumba consists of twelve members, the average
age being 20. The band has seven male and five
female band members, all based in Mbare, Zimbabwe.
The band was formed in April 1999. They are masters
of mbira, marimba, guitars and keyboard, all traditional
Zimbabwean instruments. They have performed at
festivals, nightclubs, and events, and won several
competitions.
The
Reptor repertoire also includes Fudged (College/Indie
Rock), Jives (College/Indie Rock), Mick Lee (Pop),
Bootnic (Punk), Gato Martin (Latin), Gernardo
(Reggae), Raw Dialect (Hip-Hop), Tyrone Houston
(R&B/Soul), Nu Republic (Rock), Ani Minasian
(Pop), Sean Parker (New Age), Sibling Songs (Pop),
The Pocket Gods (Blues), Jeff Laine (Blues), Richard
J Falcon (Easy Listening), and many other amazing
